Three rules,

Pick what you actually listen to
14 genres, from pop and rock to K-pop, afrobeats, reggaeton and rap français. Or skip the genres entirely and search for one artist to play only their catalogue.
Listen, then type
The cover art stays hidden. You get the snippet and a text field with autocomplete — no multiple choice to guess your way through.
Three lives, and a streak worth protecting
A wrong answer costs a life. Every third correct answer in a row adds a bonus, so the run you are afraid to lose is always the one you are on.
How much
do you need?
The difficulty is simply how long the snippet plays. Shorter snippet, bigger multiplier.
Enough for a chorus. Good for a genre you are still learning.
Points × 1An intro, a bar, a voice. Where most sessions settle.
Points × 1.5One second. You either know it in the first note or you do not.
Points × 2Five rounds,

Matchmaking pairs you on rating, starting inside 100 points and widening the longer you wait. Then it is the same five tracks, in the same order, at the same moment.
- Everyone starts at 1000. The bigger the upset, the more rating changes hands.
- A browser player and a phone player land in the same queue — matchmaking has no notion of platform.
- Duels need an account. Solo runs do not.
